Time Management

Today, I was going watch High School Musical Three with some friends.

Having no car, I had to ask my parents if I could go.

They said, “No, you’re too busy.”

True, recently, I had been staying up through the transition from one day to the next doing homework, mostly for English. However, that was then.

It’s the weekend, and I have no immediate tests nor essays to write. Of course, that doesn’t mean I should procrastinate or anything, but who are my parents to determine whether or not I’m busy? They said I had to study for biology, for math, for English, practice violin, and play tennis. If that were true, then I would NEVER be free. I’m not stupid. If I were truly busy then of course I wouldn’t go. And because I’m too busy to go watch a movie, then I must be too busy to go to some family dinners and birthday parties, right? Apparently not.

After some nagging, they let me go. Nevertheless, I may have some time management issues, but I’m not busy till I’m busy.
